Perfectly imperfect

We have staying in this unit several times and each time we say - "what a great view but couldn't they fix it up a little?". The unit is always clean and we never have any problems - but the bathroom could use a refresh and the carpet could use a refresh. The porch needs better furniture. We feel like for what we pay there are improvements that should have already happened. Will that stop us from renting in the future - probably not but we would appreciate it.

Sea Colony - A Slice of Heaven

We have stayed at several units at Sea Colony over the last 22 years. Sea Colony is a slice of heaven. All units are well maintained, and the property is always clean & well manicured. Each unit is unique, some offer more amenities than others. Chesapeake 809, was the perfect getaway for my husband and me. This unit is a little more dated than some others & would benefit from the addition of a Keurig, but is still beautiful & we would rent it again.

We were very pleased with our unit this week at Sea Colony. Loved the view, felt it was clean. Convenient to have close access to the elevator. Really like the location in general. Kitchen was equipped well enough for our needs. It would be helpful to have written instructions for the TV’s. We did enjoy having the ability to stream on the bedroom TV. Very comfortable sofa in the living room. One suggestion is to check the air vents . They could have been cleaner. In this COVID era every attention to cleanliness is appreciated. We would stay in this unit again for sure. Mary Ann

Great view

We rented this one bedroom condo for the long Labor Day weekend. It has an amazing view on the 8th floor - we spent a lot of time out of the balcony just watching the ocean. It was very clean when we got there and everything looked well maintained. We did not cook while we were there so I cannot comment on the kitchen appliances but I did run one load of laundry and the washer/dryer worked fine. The description of the place used the word nostalgic - the decor is pretty much stuck in the 80’s. Pink walls, faux wicker furniture, lots of dried flower arrangements, etc. But it was a well maintained property so it did not bother us. The only negative I have is the mattress in the bedroom - it was pretty soft for my taste. My daughter thought the mattress on the pull out couch was fine.
